Unforgettable events

Here in the heart of Reims, the Comtes de Champagne Residence would be used for the coronation ceremonies for the Kings of France. Many Lords and artists were also hosted at the Residence, which now belongs to Taittinger Champagne. It is a place full of history set in outstanding surroundings. Used today for private functions, this setting makes for an unforgettable event.

The 'Comtes' Residence

A unique place

The ‘Comtes de Champagne’ residence is one of the few examples of Medieval architecture left in Reims. It is a living reminder of a flamboyant dynasty which ruled over Champagne in the Middle Ages. Bombed heavily during the Great War (WWI), this historic site was almost entirely destroyed.

The Taittinger Champagne House purchased it and oversaw its restoration, with guidance from the Ministry of Fine Arts. Today, the site is a listed building, retaining its role as a place for luxurious and exclusive functions. It is located in the heart of Reims, only a stone’s throw away from the cathedral, and can host meals, cocktails, seminars, exhibitions and private concerts in a truly unique setting.

An exclusive service

The space for functions comprises of a room on the ground floor (144 m²) and a room on the first floor (217 m²). Each room can accommodate up to 150 people. The Comtes Residence has other facilities available, which add to the exclusive aspect and premium character of an event. There are 20 parking spaces in the court, a floral garden, full of colour. In addition, it can supply smooth-running logistical support (professional cuisine, private courtyard for the caterer). A dedicated advisor from the Taittinger Champagne House will help function organisers make their event a success.
