The Comtes de Champagne cuvee

As a tribute to the Counts of Champagne who ruled over the Saint-Nicaise Abbey and to Thibaud IV in particular whose seal marks each bottle, Champagne Taittinger created its most rare and precious cuvee in 1952 — the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs. This blend is derived solely from Chardonnay grapes from the highest-ranked crus of the Côte des Blancs, the most prestigious source of Chardonnay in Champagne.
