Chardonnay

The epitome of Taittinger style, the Chardonnay is cultivated principally in the Côte des Blancs. The wines that come from Chardonnay are characterized by delicate and fresh aromas, mineral and citrus notes, and white flowers. Slower to evolve than others, this grape variety is ideal for ageing, yielding wines that are fine and elegant, and often described as airy. Present in high proportions in all of our cuvees, Chardonnay is in its complete essence in the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs.
