In 1940 pilot officer Michel Taittinger, son of Pierre, along with only a handful of soldiers, held down a key position on the last bridge on the Seine still in French hands, in Saint-Parres-aux-Tertes. He will endure as an example for his family, which will take from his memory, courage, honor and generosity.
